Our Work is Needed

While in Hong Kong, Donny and I tried to find any gay venues we could. It was very difficult. As you might imagine, gay culture is cloaked. We found a gay bookstore online. We went to the bookstore taking literature and the Erotic Body Prayer Book with us. Even though we were able to find it, the store was well-tucked away and not recognizable. It was on the 11th floor of an office building and on the directory of the building, the store name was not listed. You definitely had to know in advance where it was.
When we got to the door, we had to ring a bell to be received. They definitely didn't want anyone wandering in by mistake. While we were there, we were able to leave brochures and talk to the clerk about our work. Besides the language barrier, it was clear we were speaking a "foreign" language. Our work is so needed in the world.

I wish the amazing community we've built could be seen in such places.

Dream from Malaysia

Kirk and I have been doing a lot of "clearing" work in this trip. Our dreams have been quite extraordinary. Here is a brief summary of one I had while we were in Malaysia.

I dreamt of the dark side of the moon. There are scrolls there containing knowledge put there by Atlantean priests. These scrolls contain information regarding how to project one's consciousness. The information actually exists in other dimensions but is stabilizing in the 3rd dimension and will be available shortly. The Atlantean priests didn't actually get in a spaceship and fly there as we might think of space travel today. Instead, they projected the information with their own consciousness and put it into the non-physcial "grid."

I've been asked, in my dream, to teach this information. I was associated with the Priests and was actually having a conversation with them. It was like talking to a live holograph.

The teaching of this information will have to do with TOYS! (I LOVE TOYS) . Yes, toys will demonstrate to us how consciousness is projected. I see a workshop space filled with LOTS OF TOYS to play with.

My dream went further to talk about how the moon plays an important part in our psychic/spirital life. It acts as a portal between dimensions. We already know how the moon moves the tides of the sea, but the moon also moves our internal, spiritual "tides" as well. These movements are not arbitrary; they are completely in our control and are activated by group consciousness.

Why project consciousness? I asked in my dream. I was told it is important for the journey back to oneness, to heal the illusion of duality or polarity. When we project consciousness, we could, for example, be able to project it to a tree and thereby take on the tree's worldview: it's awareness, it's knowingness. I was told in my dream that once we achieve this, we'll never see the world in the same way again. Each tree, each flower, each pebble will be seen as a part of us, a part of the Whole, as sacred.

So I'd invite you all to dream with me and get ready to play with lots of TOYS!

Ritual moments, Subtle Signs

The great success of planting seeds of Flesh and Spirit work in Australia continues to be both joyful and large. Donny and I mused with my Voyager Tarot cards about our relationship to building community in Melbourne(especially) and Sydney. Repetitive cards appeared each time we asked: The Star, The Two of Wands(Window of Opportunity), Sage cards(mastery) and The Ace of Cups (ecstacy) seemed to emerge each time we asked questions about Australia.
The Star card has a large image of Quan Yin, the Goddess of mercy and wishes, on it. Two days after leaving Australia, Donny and I found ourselves in Penang, Malaysia, standing at the feet of the largest statue of Quan Yin in the world. Her huge vase can be seen pouring out waters of love, service and ourishment for any who would receive.
On our journey to visit Quan Yin we stopped at a Hindu snake temple. Our taxi driver told us a holy man used to do ritual each day there in the temple. Many kinds of snakes would come as he welcomed the sacred. The holy man died and the snakes left, the driver explained. Now only one kind of green snake is care for in the temple. Donny stretched himself beyond his comfort zone to experience the space. It was at this temple we offered two bundles of incense around blessing Flesh and Spirit in San Francisco, and blessing Flesh and Spirit in Australia. We also lit candles for the Mary Magdalene tour Donny and I wish to do to Southern France in 2008. Snakes have inspired sages and shamans with their medicine throughout time. The rich smells of incense, images of Hindu gods and the snakes made for an interesting experience of care and mystery.
Each place we explored we asked a blessing for Flesh and Spirit. a butterfly farm was the most magical. We welcomed the help of the butterflies and they landed on us. It felt like they were doing aura cleansings on us as we walked through their community.
Our final blessing was enjoying the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. We welcomed the abundance of the ocean spirit to prosper us and the brothers of Flesh and Spirit.

Butterfly farm in Penang, Malaysia

Ever been to a butterfly farm? We went to one today here in Penang. It's an enclosed tropical garden filled with waterfalls, lush plants and trees--and tons of butterflys! They are flying all over the place and they are so beautiful. The array of colors is amazing! Kirk has a special affinity for butterflies and so they were landing all over him. (Did you know the nicer, colloquial word in Spanish for "gay man" is "mariposa" or butterfly. I wonder why!)

One certainly senses the light, sensitive, almost etherial energy of the butterflies. I think each one of them is a little fairy flitting around. Kirk says he wants a butterfly farm some day.
